Job Description - Opportunity for a Lead Civil Estimator to take on the Estimating Manager's role
- Reporting to the Business Development Manager
- Provide guidance and direction to the Estimating Team
- Be involved in all aspects of the estimation/tender process
- Communicate with management, staff, clients and subcontractors
- Live and work in the beautiful Hunter Valley
The Successful Applicant - Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
- Minimum of 10 years experience in civil construction estimating
- Strong understanding of all aspects of the estimating process including client interactions, analytical tasks and hand-over support for project teams
- Background in pricing road, rail, water and heavy civil construction projects
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are essential
