One of the fastest growing companies in Sydney is on the lookout for a Technical Consultant to join their dynamic development group. Their mission is to champion new age payment systems technologies in digital security and smart card technologies. Furthermore, they are already on their way to achieving this.

The opportunity:

The client is seeking a technical consultant / product manager to be the technical interface of Smart Card and Sim Card technologies used in telecommunications and payment devices. This role will also allow the successful candidate to work closely with the technical marketing and pre-sales teams, while at the same time remain a subject matter expert in smart card technologies. Another aspect to this role is to provide strategic input in selecting which potential smart card technologies are viable in the long term.

Requirements:

• 2+ years commercial experience
• Expertise in digital security and cellular telecommunications (experience with payment systems are highly desirable)
• Experience in SIM and Smartcard technology (knowledge of Global Platforms and Sim Tool kit will be beneficial)
• Degree qualified in Engineering or Computer Science disciplines
